A 2 month commitment when joining. |
| Aikido
teaches children how to defend themselves, without kicking or punching.
Instead, students learn to use an attacker's energy against themselves
with controlling joint locks, throws, take-downs and pins.
Aikido is a non-competitive art allowing children of different sizes and ages to learn and grow in a friendly cooperative atmosphere. This non-competitive environment guarantees that students progress at their own rates. |
|
There are at least 2 adult instructors present each class. |
| A ranking system, modeled after the adult testing system, is in place that takes students step by step through techniques, gently insuring their growth, success and increasing competency. |
